Lovely little book abut the individuality of all animals - mainly cows but also chickens, pigs and donkeys. It also raise a question for me personally. I very rarely eat meat, mainly for ethical reasons, but I do worry that if the good farmers out there, who raise their animals with decency and respect, are not supported, are we giving free rein to the factory farm operators? Even in our wildest dreams, not every human will give up meat. Therefore is it not better to ensure there is a decent alternative to the horrors of intensive farming?
